Lulu’s Ice Cream

Branding and package design for a school project. 

The approach was to create a brand for a family-owned frozen dessert company made with organic ingredients. A family-friendly playful and organic feel to the design was the primary focus of this brand. As I started working on exploration for type and illustration I wanted it to feel friendly and use eye-catching colors that will be easily spotted at a grocery store.

For this design I tried different layouts and illustrations, some of the first designs included a more vector-based graphic. Still, I decided that hand-drawn illustrations were going to make this package a lot more friendly and attractive to the target audience.
